เป็นที่ทราบกันดีว่า การปฏิรูปของชนชาติและประชาคมใดๆในโลกนี้นั้น มิได้เกิดขึ้นโดยทันทีทันใดหรือโดยบังเอิญ ชาติที่เป็นมหาอำนาจและเจริญก้าวหน้าในปัจจุบัน ล้วนเคยผ่านภาวะการหลับใหลของประชาชน ความอ่อนแอ ล้าหลังและด้อยพัฒนามาก่อนทั้งสิ้น แต่ทว่า ด้วยระบบการศึกษาที่ดี ชนชาติเหล่านั้นได้เจริญก้าวหน้าเช่นทุกวันนี้ หรือกล่าวนัยหนึ่ง เมื่อชนชาติเหล่านั้นได้ผ่านกระบวนการอบรมขัดเกลาทางจิตใจและพัฒนาทางความ คิด กล่าวคือ ได้พัฒนาสภาวะหยุดนิ่งและหลับใหลสู่การมีพลวัตร ตื่นรู้และตื่นตัว จากความสิ้นหวังสู่การมีขวัญและ

นับวันบทบาทและความสำคัญของผู้นำยิ่งเป็นที่จับตาของประชาชนมากขึ้น พวกเขาเริ่มสัมผัสความแตกต่างระหว่างชุมชนอันสืบเนื่องมาจากความแตกต่างของคุณสมบัติและบุคลิกของผู้นำ  เริ่มมีการพูดถึงความเปลี่ยนแปลงและเปรียบเทียบความเด่นความด้อยระหว่างชุมชนหนึ่งกับชุมชนข้างเคียงที่ลงเอยด้วยการวิพากษ์ผู้นำที่พวกเขาเป็นคนเลือกมาด้วยมือของตัวเอง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นนายก อบต. นายก อบจ.

ผู้ที่มีทุกข์อย่างแท้จริง คือ ผู้ที่ยากจนขัดสนอีหม่าน และมีวิกฤติในเรื่องความเชื่อมั่นศรัทธา คนเหล่านี้มักจะมีสภาพหม่นหมอง มีทุกข์ระทม ท้อและเศร้าโศก มีอารมณ์โกรธและรู้สึกต้อยต่ำ ด้อยค่า ไร้เกียรติและศักดิ์ศรี

หนังสือ "อิสลามศาสนาแห่งสันติภาพ" ซึ่งเรียบเรียงโดย ดร.อิสมาอีลลุตฟี จะปะกียา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยอิสลามยะลา เป็นหนังสือที่อธิบายมุมมองหลักของอิสลามว่าด้วยสันติภาพ ทั้งในแง่ของความเชื่อ หลักปฏิบัติ การปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเพื่อนมนุษย์ และประเด็นความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมุสลิมกับผู้ไม่ใช่มุสลิม

อะไรเป็นสาเหตุทำให้เราต้องพูดถึงเรื่องนี้ การถกเถียงกันในเรื่องเกี่ยวกับความเปลี่ยนแปลง และสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นในสังคมอาจจะเป็นเรื่องไร้สาระสำหรับคนรุ่นใหม่ที่โตมา พร้อมกับเทคโนโลยีและความทันสมัยของวิทยาศาสตร์ อันที่จริงการพูดถึงสังคมไม่ได้เป็นเรื่องไกลตัว เพราะเราแต่ละคนคือหน่วยหนึ่งในสังคมที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากปฏิกิริยาต่างๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นในสังคมของเราเอง บทบาท และกิจกรรมในชีวิตประจำวันของเราล้วนแล้วถูกกำหนดขึ้นโดยมีภาวะสังคมที่แวด ล้อ
